Life and Career
Federico García Lorca was born on June 5, 1898, in Fuente Vaqueros, Granada, Spain. As a poet, playwright, and theater director, he is considered one of the most influential figures of the 20th century. Lorca's works, such as his poetry collection "Romancero Gitano" and the play "Bodas de Sangre," are renowned for their vivid imagery and exploration of themes like love, death, and the Spanish cultural heritage. During the Spanish Civil War, Lorca was tragically assassinated in August 1936.
