Fulham Clash Precedes Crucial European Tie

West Ham United manager David Moyes has addressed the media ahead of his team's upcoming Premier League clash with Fulham and their crucial second-leg Europa Conference League tie against Bayern Munich.
The Hammers host Fulham at the London Stadium on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at 2 pm. Moyes will be keen to secure a positive result against the Cottagers before they travel to Germany for the decisive leg of their European adventure.
Speaking to reporters, Moyes said: "We know Bayern Munich are a top team, but we're not going there to make up the numbers. We're going to give it our best shot and see what happens."
West Ham trail Bayern Munich 3-1 from the first leg, but Moyes is confident his team can turn the deficit around. "We're going to have to be at our best, but we believe we can do it," he said.
In the meantime, West Ham must focus on their Premier League campaign. They currently sit in 12th place in the table, seven points clear of the relegation zone but 10 points behind the top half.
Moyes said: "We need to make sure we're safe in the Premier League before we can fully focus on Europe. We've got a tough game against Fulham this weekend, but we're confident we can get a positive result."
